The best band on earth is back, and this time it’s actually worth the hype.
Rage Against the Machine, a band known for being very political and also very good, is coming back for a series of shows along the US-Mexico border next year.
After the last countdown and news of a possible reunion, fans were less than excited to learn that Tom Morello was up to some goofy shit by putting together a cover band of his own songs with members of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, but this time it’s actually happening, Rage is coming back and true to form will be playing their political songs in a political environment to remind everyone that the politicians in power are being nefarious.
It seems that the current climate of anti-immigrant rhetoric has pushed them over the edge, and it would be an understatement to say that I’m glad to see it.
The band will play three shows along the border in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Phoenix before headlining Coachella next March.
